This interesting piece of wood was sourced locally in 2014, which has allowed almost 7 years natural drying time and with many hours of preparation has produced a beautiful resin wood river table.
Although we are surrounded by Olive wood here in Andalucía it is very difficult to find Olive wood that is sufficiently dry enough and stable to use for furniture. This is because Olive wood is extremely hard and takes many years to dry naturally. Olive trees usually stop producing fruit after 100 years or so, at which time they are felled with new trees planted in their place.
The top was then mounted on a rectangular steel that is attached with threaded inserts and machine bolts.

Resin wood river tables ‘Devolution’Coffee Table:

We use live edge wood and eco-friendly epoxy resin to create a striking coffee table. Our goal with Rivertables is to enhance your home space. Not only this natural wood and epoxy resin is long lasting but is easy to clean and to maintain.
The character of the wooden slab is truly distinctive to this type of tree. As a result, it makes this resin wood table unique, artistic yet functional. In addition, we work with local metal carpenters in Marbella. All our legs are welded by hand.

We are able to offer custom designs to your liking. Especially if you have a particular epoxy resin colour in mind. Take into consideration for the resin wood river tables not to be in direct sunlight. Although the natural wood and epoxy resin are long lasting, we don´t recommend to be under the strong sun.
