Complete Set Small – Four Epoxy Resin Molds (2× 30×10 / 45×30 / 60×40)

— Complete Kit – Strip, Panel and Table Format —

The Complete Set Small is built around a specific type of maker — one who works across formats. The two 30 × 10 strip molds handle inlay work, coaster production, and narrow decorative pieces. The 45 × 30 covers medium panels and smaller commissions. The 60 × 40 takes on coffee tables and larger decorative slabs. Together they cover a working range that a single mold size never could.

This set is made to order. If you need a variation on any of the included sizes, get in touch and we can adjust the specification before production.

The Logic Behind This Set

Most makers who work with resin professionally don’t produce one type of piece. A week’s work might include a coffee table commission, a set of matching coasters, and a narrow inlay strip for a joinery project. Handling all three with a single mold means compromising on at least two of them — either building temporary forms or turning work away.

The two 30 × 10 strip molds are what make this set distinct from the Large. Having a pair of identical strip molds means you can run two colour variants simultaneously — useful when a client wants matching coasters in two different finishes, or when you’re testing a colour combination before committing to a larger pour. Both strips cure at the same time, both release cleanly, and you have two finished pieces ready from a single session.

The 45 × 30 sits between the strips and the 60 × 40 as a genuinely useful intermediate size. It’s the right format for decorative chopping boards, small wall panels, and medium tabletop commissions — pieces that are too large for the strip molds but don’t need the full 60 × 40 footprint. For workshops producing a retail product range, this size generates consistent, sellable pieces at a production speed that works commercially.

Strip Mold Production — Getting the Most From the 30 × 10 Pair

The two 30 × 10 molds deserve specific attention because they’re the most versatile pieces in this set relative to their size. A single 30 × 10 pour produces a strip that can be cut into three standard coasters, used as a full-length decorative insert, or kept intact as a narrow shelf or display piece.

Having two identical strip molds changes your workflow. You can pour matching strips in different colours for a coordinated set. You can use one for a client commission while the other runs a test pour for an upcoming project. You can produce twice the output from a single production session without any additional setup time. For makers selling coasters or decorative strips at volume, this pair significantly improves production efficiency.

The strip format also works well for inlay and joinery applications. Furniture makers incorporating resin into woodwork need strips with consistent width and clean edges throughout — the machined sides of these molds deliver that precision without corrective sanding.

Build Quality Across All Four Molds

Every mold in this set is built to the same specification — precision-machined panels assembled with threaded inserts and bolts. The sides are straight rather than tapered, which means clean edges on every piece and less resin wasted at the margins. Assembly takes under two minutes. Seal the edges with standard silicone before each pour and the mold is ready. No release spray, no duct tape, no additional preparation.

The non-stick surface releases cleanly across all four formats — from the lightweight strip pieces to the heavier slabs from the 60 × 40. The bolted sides disassemble without force, which matters particularly on larger pieces where a stuck mold can damage the surface of the casting.

These molds are priced below many competitors because we’ve removed the additions that don’t add value. Built-in bubble levels attached to removable sides are unreliable and unnecessary — place the mold on a flat, sturdy surface and level that surface with a proper spirit level. The result is more accurate than any built-in level and costs nothing extra.
